amphetamines and barbituarates use for Parkinsons disease

hi all i am a new member and to tell you the truth not really a drug taker. Used to be a spliff head once upon a time so here i am. I recently found out that one of my old friends has parkinsons disease and on talking to him recently he has told me that speed or cocaine might help him with his condition? This is on talking to his doctor. He told me that his doctor basically warned him that if you go down that route then you have to be very carefull of street drugs and that basically although you might get relief the rubbish that is mixed with the drugs could take years of his life. my thoughts are how can you check drugs? is it a viable option to try to try to make speed in a home setting and basically if their is anybody out their that can shine any light whatsoever on this topis i would appreciate it. I am 43 and and to me their are only a handful of close friends that are important to me and seeing one fade away, who is in so much pain and discomfort is heart wrenching.

thks guys and girls of course
