fell asleep off speed

So a while back a friend of mine took some good speed with another person.
Now one of them was smokeing cannabis at the time the other one was drinking,the one who was smokeing it was there first time and they ended up going asleep eairly (like 8 hours later )they also had more than half of the bag.
The other person was up all night and was also experenced with speed and said it was good.

So why did the other person fall asleep?
From what I can rember it was only polm,which is a higher grade of soap bar hash not great but, no crap in it like plastic and shit(what I can rember any way mite off been soap bar dont think it was tho)
