SWIM was telling me that a 40mg dosage of ritalin (first time ever taking ritalin) basically "ruined" the normal effects that SWIM takes adderall for. SWIM is a recreational user of adderall. For the cocaine like effects I think is what SWIM said. The normal adderall dosage is 30mg (xr) at one time.
Is it possible that the ritalin in some way counteracted the adderall effects by consuming them within just a few hours of each other? SWIM said that they feel the adderall "rush" inside but they're convinced the ritalin is keeping them "locked in their own brain." This is because the happy euphoria and talkativeness is not at all there like normal. Any ideas on what I should tell SWIM? Thanks guys.

SWIM just found out that Methylphenidate generally stops the release of things like dopamine while Dextroamphetamine generally releases dopamine and such. Thus the brain is probably fighting itself. Sorry for this useless thread. Lesson for SWIM and others is that ritalin is not adderall in the least.
