Dihydrocodeine from Codeine

SWIM understand if you take say pure codeine phosphate in water.. thus, codeine in the presence of a weak acid.

then hydrogenated it you would get Dihydrocodeine... which is 1.5 to 2 times more potent than codeine without the ceiling effect.. This seems to swim like a useful procedure to carry out.

however, although swim has a decent chemistry background it has been a bit of a while for specific reactions... now swim knows this reaction involves the use of hydrogen gas... but, does anyone know the specific of this (or if another swim has made a tek, couldnt find any on search..except ones that kinda complicated.. as they were more part of a greater reaction of another opiate)..

so, would swim just have to bubble hydrogen gas through it in the presence of acid... or, could it be done with hydrogen peroxide, and a catalyist to cause the hydrogen to be released?
