The first government-approved psychotherapy study of LSD's therapuetic benefits in human subjects in over thirty-five years is scheduled to proceed.
The MAPS sponsored study will investigate LSD-assisted psychotherapy in 12 subjects suffering from anxiety associated with advanced-stage cancer and other life-threatening illnesses.
Dr. Peter Gasser's study received final approval from the study's Ethics Committee (the Swiss IRB equivalent) on July 12, 2007. And now the pure, encapsulated LSD has finally arrived.
