Lasting depression & sensory dampening caused by cocaine/crack use
SWIM has been using cocaine for years and crack for the past 15 months or so. Although not addicted in a sense (didn't use every day), in the past year sessions have increased to using very large quantites within a short time period (sometimes with other drugs), with paranoia/psychosis setting in on many occasions. The more this has happened the worse SWIM's depression has got, lasting even after a break of two or more weeks. Not just depresssion but lack of motivation and life and dampening of senses, consistant with lack of dopamine. I'm certain that there has been a degree of neurological damage. My question is, what substance(s) can SWIM take to help with these problems? SWIM has found currently the most effective to be PEA with an MAO-B inhibitor. Thanks
