Strong paranoid feeling about anti-drug people

I do not understand this at all.

Marijuana is illegal. Alcohol is not. You can die from alcohol poisoning. But you cannot overdose on marijuana.

As long as your over 21, you can be a full blown alcoholic and still be socially accepted in society as long as you function. If you've ever smoked marijuana however, you are automatically labeled a drug addict, a criminal, and above all, a complete and utter failure, regardless of the fact that you go to work everyday, do your job, pay your taxes, and have never taken part in any crime other than the posession and use of marijuana.

These fucko's who make up the anti-drug campaigns and spread the word that marijuana is a ticket to death and all the misery life can bestow on a person must see at some point that if marijuana is so bad, they woudn't have to make up bullshit about it......

Thus, I believe that most marijuana awareness campaigns are in fact run by religous nutjobs who are just out to do "thy bidding"!!!!

I might be absolutely insane, but it feels like its all done in the name of religion rather than logic and facts.

Should I see my psychiatrist and have him perscribe some anti-psychotics or does anyone else feel that marijuana use and its users are being unfairly persecuted for what these wackjob's consider "an abomination of the lord"?

all opinions appreciated
