Codeine Promethazine expired 4 years ago
I obtained half a bottle of a codeine+promethazine suspension that expired towards the end of 2003. I was wondering if in theory it should be ok to take. I've taken expired codeine syrup (just codeine though) that was probably this old before and it worked fine. It was stored in a dark container at room temp. I'm figuring the worse could be that it's lost potency, but I don't know anything about expired promethazine. Thanks for any input.
