Health - Swim thinks LSD cured his anxiety

Swim cant get his head around this. Swim used to get extremely bad anxiety attacks when smoking weed and then started having them without smoking weed, it eventually got into every aspect of his life, college, work, social life etc it even made him affraid of hights incase he would have an anxiety attack and fall. But since swim had his first LSD experience, about 5 months ago, he has never had the slightest bit of anxiety, he has no problem with hights and he feels as if he has been freed from a mental imprisonment and can do what he like without worrying, with or without weed.
Swim cant find the logic in this though because THC is similar to LSD but much weaker and if THC gives swim anxiety attacks then LSD should give it him even worse, but it doesnt.
Has anyone else experienced this or can anyone think of a theory as to how it happened?
