Ketamine and Cancer Pain?

HI SWIM (seriously SWIM) has cancer of the bladder and it has spread to the bones in his leg. He is currently taking medication along with morphine to treat the pain. I was wondering if anyone could advise me on whether it would be a good idea for him to take ketamine to treat the pain. He is also interested in getting some grass to treat the nausea as that is a concern also. I was thinking that the ketamine might be used for an acute episode if the morphine wasnt cutting it. He is not a recreational drug user and he is middle aged.
