$5 Million Marijuana Bust

SAN DIEGO, CA - (1-31-05) Authorities
seized more than 11,000 pounds of marijuana recently,
and they say the drugs were heading for the United
States. A narcotics detection dog working at the Otay
Mesa Port of Entry made the discovery inside a tractor-trailer
Friday. The marijuana was hidden in boxes behind a
load of plaster products. The driver, a Tijuana resident,
was arrested.</font>
