Xylocaine-abusable?

I didn't know where to put this, so I decided i'd just put it here.

So, I just recently made a purchase of a fair bit of morphine, and the guy I got it from threw in some Xylocaine with it, since he had it and didn't know what it did.

I did a little bit of googling, erowid'ing, and wiki'ing, and didn't manage to come up with anything that said that it couldn't be abused. It's Lidocaine HCL, essentially, which I know isn't euphoric, but I was wondering if all of you thought it would be a bad idea to give it a shot anyways, just to get confirmation myself.

Also, if i'm wrong about my assumptions about lidocaine, do let me know.
