Opiate irritability

Howdy friends,

Noddy McNoddson has recently noticed that he gets extremely irritable when on opiates. He knows at the time that he is being totally irrational but cannot help himself. It could be someone cutting him off on the footpath, or something as simple as not being able to reach the remote control without getting up. He doesn't act out of course, he just gets extremely, irrationably frustrated. This irritability generally lasts for the rest of the day.

Funny thing is, when he first started playing with opiates this was never an issue. In fact, he used to be quite the opposite, wrapped in a cacoon of inpenetrable calm. Is this a change that any others have noticed? Should Noddy be concerned?
