snorting and dose boosting

SWIM has two rolls to take at a party tonight and is thinking about waiting to take the second one an hour or two after the first one. What are the advantages/disadvantages of separating the doses compared to taking them both at once? He's also curious about the effects of insufflating ecstasy, and if he does wait to take the second pill later, should he rail the first one or the boost dose?

It should be noted that these are street pills and SWIM is not 100% certain about the contents.
