Largest Ever Drug Bust in Canada - SWIM's neighbour!
Hey guys,
SWIM is one of those drug users who dislike unreliability, shitty product, etc. from their dealers. Luckily, a few years back when SWIM was in 11th grade when SWIM began experimenting with chemical drugs (as he only smoked pot occasionally for fun prior to that), he met a dealer (strictly club drugs) who was very reputable in the city of Toronto. He became pretty close friends with this dealer, as this dealer was only in the 11th grade and was a very nice guy. After spending time with this guy, doing a lot of K and E with him in his condo, SWIM learned that this guy (let's call him Ray) was supplied by Canadian drug kingpins that supplied the majority of all dealers in the province with (strictly) club drugs. SWIM never actually met these kingpins, who turned out to live in a house about 15 houses away from SWIM, but seen them and seen Ray deal with them. The type of deals that were made were usually in high amounts, for example, thousands of E pills at a time, and kilograms of ketamine at a time. This really intrigued SWIM as he was very captured by large-scale, Scarface-like drug dealing.
Last Friday, SWIM was sitting, watching the news (as usual), and a story about a huge drug bust came on the screen. The report said that the RCMP pulled over a car occupied by 4 middle-aged Asian men at the main intersection near SWIM's house. When they searched the car, they found about 125,000 ecstasy pills stashed. They arrested the men, and this bust lead them back to a house in SWIM's area (the same house of the large-scale dealers that SWIM was familiar with!). As soon as SWIM heard the story, he went on the news channel's website and read more. Apparently, the house was being used as a meth lab for making ecstasy. Stored in the house were about 2,000,000 more ecstasy pills, most of which were allegedly headed to Brooklyn, NY. The RCMP quoted the value of all the drugs seized at about $40,000,000 and said it was the largest ever drug bust in all of Canadian history.
Now here's the coolest part (for SWIM, anyways). On Monday morning, SWIM had court (pre-trial for criminal/highway traffic charges), and was sitting in the court hallway where everyone waits, awaiting his pre-trial. SWIM looked to his right and suddenly saw a police officer holding a man in cuffs, walking him towards the back door (where they take you into a van headed to the local prison if you're convicted). SWIM took a look at the man's face, and it was one of the men arrested in the drug bust charge. It was really cool to see. The look on the guy's face was unbelievable!
I know most of you don't care, but the only reason I'm posting is because I'm so shocked. You'd understand if you were in my shoes during this series of cool events.
