Quit smoking cannabis - feel better!

SWIM used to smoke cannabis bigtime for 5 years. He smoked whenever he got the chance and also sold lots of it. But lately SWIM realised that the weed was no longer giving him a nice happy time like it used to when he started. He was mainly doing it because it was so easily available.

Because SWIM sold alot of hash, there was alot of profit. And his pocket was never empty of a nice sticky lump of bomb hash to roll up whenever he felt like it.

A month ago SWIM decided that the stuff was making him very paranoid and stressed when he got high. There wasnt any overly pleasant feeling about smoking hash, and so SWIM just quit smoking. And the more days went by the easier it got. After about 5 days without any smoke the withdrawals were gone, SWIM felt extatic about everything. Like before, everything felt boring without smoking, but now everything feels great without smoking. The withdrawal from cannabis were nothing by the way. He just had an urge to smoke, and he had alot of anger problems where he started to argue with people very easily. But it doesnt last very long.

SWIM is happier, more confident, his sex drive is better, and he is feeling much more motivated to achive the goals he has.

This tuesday SWIM smoked one joint, and he immediately felt the negative effects come back. Already the next day he was a bit more sluggish and tired from it. And also pretty anxious. And now (thursday night) SWIM is feeling great again since the hash has left his body. So SWIM has probably stopped smoking forever. Almost. There is always that one time at a party that SWIM will take a few hits, but thats it.

I think when SWIM started smoking it was actually good for him. Opened his mind a little bit and taught him some stuff he might never learn without smoking. But lately it's been bad for SWIM to smoke, and it wasnt easy to realise it. So keep in mind you dont really know if a drug is hurting you until you quit using it. No matter what the drug is or how harmless you might percive it, you have to first stop for a while to get your head straight and know for sure.

"WHAT? You in rehab for a little WEED? Thats some bullshit. Boo this man!"
