Alkoxide, methoixed prepairation without Na(s)

Ive noticed a lot of methods for p2p require Soidum metal, a main one is in the formation of alkoxide (sodium methoxide).
Does anyone know a way to make methoxide without sodium metal?
There are many who are miss led buy bio-diesel guides which state NaOH + MeOH > sodium methoxide, but in reality the water produced reverses the reaction.
