Amphetamine antidote

Does swiy now the following situation? - Swiy is going to enter a fantastic party with swiy´s best friends and favourite music and cause of that swiy takes a lot of amphetamin to have the energy and emotional base to rock this event. But the party doesn´t last along and the end comes much faster than expected. Now swiy sits allone at home and is bored. There are no more (stereo)typical things to do like cleaning up swiy´s apartment and so on... Bit by bit thoughts about things that have to be managed the next day comes to swiy mind. The only thing that seems to make sense would be going to bed and regenerate. But at that point swiy is far far away from a relaxed dormancy...

Swim was often confronted with this sitiuation and as a pharmacist swim has tested several substances to solve this problem. In the first trials Swim used some different kinds of Benzodiazepines but the required sedation was only reached by using high doses (for example: 25 mg diazepam / 18 mg bromazepam / >30 mg oxazepam et cetera) and the effect often last just for a few hours of deep sleep. Fourthermore swim could definitely say that from the pharmaceutical position a combination like that is not recommendable because of the physiological sequences. As a (agonistic) effector on the GABA-A receptor, benzodiazepines promote the distribution of GABA and in order to that the neurological reaction (Cl permeability enhancement, hyperpolarisation...). But if yor whole Body is flooded with dopamine, adrenaline and noradrenaline which partly causes exactly oppositional reactions (relating to the neurons) like depolarisation. So the whol nervous system including CNS and PNS (and all involved parts of the organism) are in a state of war that coul cause (irreversible?) damages. Recapitulatory swim can only discourage from the (longtime) use of this combination.

The next group swim has tested are neuroleptics. To make it short: Swim took 3 substances whereof only one actually brought the designated effect. The one that worked is named reserpin, an indolalkaloid from Rauwolfia Serpentina. Swim made 2 experiments: the first was with natural reserpin, swim has extracted from the Rauwolfia plant; in the second experiment swim used synthetic, chemical pure reserpin. Both were appliqued in the same way and in equal doses. Swim´s subjective impression was, that the extracted naturell effected swim a bit more.The substances worked well, but the next day swim had to cope with strong adverse effects such as headache, vertigo, disturbances of equilibrium, diarrhoa and heavy depressions. Because of this experience swim decided that Rauwolfia alkaloids are not to use for this indication.

But what else could solve the problem of insomnia by effecting no other areas of the nervouse system and human body at all?

It should be a substance that eleminates dopamin, adrenalin and noradrenalin from the synaptic gab. That could be a substance that reakt with the neurotransmitters direktly so that the molecules are inhibited, for example by splitting them up, addition of groups of atoms or specific redox reactions. The problem with a substance such as described is , theat it would cause an acute lack of neurotransmitters that could last a few days.

Another possibility would contain an indirect way: the required substance must have the ability to block the receptor bounding site for Dop., Adr. and Noradr. (swim suposses that dopamin could be adequate). Apart from that a substance (in the ideal case the same one as just discussed) what be helpfull, which enhaces the natural REUPTAKE function so that a sufficiency of neurotransmitters could be stored in the vesicles again. That would additionally alleviate the amphetamine after-effects.

Unfortunately swim doesn´t know about a substance with a chemical and physiological aktive profile as described.

Does anyone have some serious information about this topic?

I´m sure that preheats like that exist. Swim would be very thankful if swiy could give me the name of the substance and if possibly the synthesis route.
