Fortnightly LSD use?
Psytrance summer season is starting up, and SWIM can see himself being at most of the outdoor parties for the rest of the year, which are pretty much two to three weeks apart from the first of September to March.
His drug of choice is - and will most probably always be - LSD and he can't think of any other substance which complements the Psytrance party experience better than acid.
However, he's wondering if it's a good idea to constantly induldge in acid at these parties? he's used LSD about 5 times (and 'shrooms 4) and usually will always come out of the experience changed in some way, as minor as it may be.
He might find that he prefers different music, that he never used to, or his political opinions have changed etc etc. (He's had one horrendous trip on 240ug that never had any long-term adverse effects, so now he generally sticks to 80ug.)
When dealing with such a emotionally volatile substance, how long do you keep on using it? Until you're forced to quit because of a severely negative experience?
He obviously has the choice of rather using MDMA at such parties, but he'd rather keep his drug use down to cannabis and LSD (he doesn't drink anymore and the relatively short duration of MDMA doesn't appeal in a 15 hour party context). He'd rather not attend a party, than attend one without LSD.
However, is dropping a tab every two weeks for the next half a year going to indefinitely end up with negative consequences? It seems that everytime a trip provides him with a good grasp of himself and my reality, the next one will take everything he thought he knew (even on a superficial basis) and turn it around, which is mostly exciting and invigorating, but sometimes frustrating.
