My llama, Diego Garcia, is taking Focalin XR. And I would like to learn more about this drug specifically, and how it can be compared to Ritalin and Concerta so that I may help Diego benefit most efficiently and safely from his medication.
I have read that d-methylphenidate is the primary active form of mph, and that regular ritalin is 50% d-mph. This means that x mg's of Focalin (d-mph) is best compared to 2x mg's of Ritalin??? Is it a reasonable way of learning about Focalin by reading about Ritalin if this principal is kept in mind?
If anyone can post a simple method of extracting (freebasing) d-mph, I'm sure Diego would like to read it. (He is interested in simple chemistry teks. I told him that he is a llama and should focus more on eating grass and spitting, but he is a stubborn llama.)
Diego had a limited experiece snorting Focalin XR and has not since. He complained about the drip being unpleasant and was unconvinced that innsuflating it was the best use of it. However, he has heard good things about it and would like to hear what more experienced llamas think about it. Or any tips that could be useful.

A request: Please do not post things like, "Ritalin is worthless... Concerta ruined my life... Amphetamines are better..." This is a common theme in some of the related threads. You can make a whole new thread for your dislike of mph if you feel strongly about it.

Diego will decide what Diego likes.
