Mind States Conference
Hi, new member here. I hope I'm posting this in the correct forum location, otherwise feel free to move it. I wanted to bring an upcoming conference to your attention, Mindstates VI will be happening in San Francisco May 27-29. This should be of interest to many members of this forum, you can find out more about the presenters at http://mindstates.org/

Some people complain about the cost of tickets, but if you look at the number of presenters you'll realize that it's actually a great deal. I attended Mindstates IV in Berkeley two years ago and it was simply amazing. Well worth every penny!

Not only will the presentations be outstanding, but there will be all kinds of really interesting things for sale, wonderful plants, a huge selection of books, etc. (only legal things by the way!) And you'll have the chance to chat with presenters and other interested (and interesting!) people.

If you're on the fence about it, buy a ticket, you won't regret it and last time it sold out ahead of time.

HOLOTROPIC BREATHWORK SESSIONS ADDED TO EVENT. Along with an

ECO-RESORT SETTING. The amazing eco-resort where the conference will be held is a 2,000 acre sanctuary of virgin rainforest positioned at the juncture of two rivers near the town of Horquetas of Sarapiqui, in the north region of Costa Rica. Anyway, is anyone up for this? SWIM has had the most magical times yet at conferences like these. But be warned: the video is right. Once you attend a good conference you will most likely regret every next conference that you miss.

Swip won't be able to attend this year, as he will be putting together the venue for a barter fair music festival that he is running the following weekend.

The congregation of a group of warm, psychedelic, purposefull and overall intelligent people in a enchanting environment to attend enlightning talks from experts on psychoactives and to experience uplifting sessions together, is surely a good recipee for magical experiences. The kind that will make ya go 'ooh yeah!' even many decades afterwards.

Alfa, you or one of the mods should plan on attending this year rep'ing DF officially. Take a laptop, give us all live updates, and perhaps a webcam for live video broadcasts and interviews if possible. swip for one would donate extra to a "Mind States DF coverage" fund to send you and I'm sure others would to.

I am really excited about this event. It will be a once in a lifetime experience. I don't know how much longer the Shulgins will be able to travel and to have them in a setting like that in Costa Rica is precious!
