Diphenhydramine-like hallucinations on Ecstasy?

Once swim gave me this report which he wrote in his own words about a crazy night he once had after a pill party:

I went to a party round a mate's (we'll call him G - don't think it really matters though) house. I snorted a pill at around 8.30 ish - G was late in picking up the 70 pills that everyone had ordered. Now I would usually take two but I was being picked up about 10 ish and had to face my parents.

However, as a side note, this was in vain as my mate S had triple-dropped (he intended to take two but found an unattended pill and thought "fuck it" - this was despite my advice to do only one) and smoked about an 8th of green. He ended up with serious cash-register jaw and spent most of the car journey with his eyes rolled back slurring to me about how I was "his bro".

Anyway after I got home, I told my mum I was gunna go to bed as I was a bit drunk and saying that S was drunk (she still told his dad he looked like he was on something). Anyway since my buzz was mediocre and I was feeling a little annoyed at S for getting so extremely messed up in front of my mum I took one of the pills in my wallet. I came up fully and was buzzing nicely while surfing the net and chatting on msn (which can be embarrasing). Anyway after my mum went to bed I started to come down which prompted me to redose (yes - I know it doesn't work and I knew it then but I felt desperate).

In total, throughout the rest of the night, I took 4 more pills.

I got that messed-up, confused feeling you get when you take pills that will not work because your brain is drained of all serotonin. I got double vision and became forgetful. I would post a comment on the internet, one that was completely logical and rational but then find myself staring at the floor and that the comment was half-written.

The first hallucination occurred when I got out of bed in the dark to check my pupils in the mirror to see if I was still up. All of sudden I said (or at least said in my head - I hope!) "hey chris!" but he didn't say anything and I walked closer to him but he just had a open-mouthed expression on his face and I said "what?!" and he dissapeared. I felt confused to why he had vanished and then felt even more confused as I realized he shouldn't have been there in the first place.

However, most of my hallucinations occurred in the bathroom (all in the dark) as trying to pee was difficult and took a long time (because this is E don't forget). Thus giving me time to zone out. I was in my bedroom with friends from the party as if the same party was now at my house; two girls making out on my bed (it was a good party ) and random people standing around. Then I realized I was in the bathroom and I first thought "oh dear, I'm upside-down" but then I realized I was staring down as I was trying to pee.

Then similar things happened thoughout the night that involved talking to people who weren't there and them dissapearing and me just getting really confused. But I shan't bore you with any more details.

I have read diphenhydramine trip reports and I can relate to them with this experience although without the funny colours and patterns and imaginary insects.

As any PWAY had similar experiences? Swim would like to know he is not alone.
