refill on swims hydrocodone,when is too soon?

swim is having 4 wisdom teeth removed tomorro (genral anesthesia ) and was told to pick up his hydrocodone 5/500's today so he did.the bottle only has 20 in it and im supppose to take 2 a day but the bottle says one refill.and swim is planning on taking off with some of his homies for a week or two but swim wants to know if he can call the pharmacy and have the refill filled so he will have meds for his trip.hes leaving on thursday.would mentioning intense pain help?
