A favor for a stranger pays off

Swim had to take his roommate to the doctors for an appointment and after wating an hour in the car he went inside to check on her. She had still yet to be seen. On swims way out a guy stopped him and asked if swim could possibly save the stranger from a long painfull walk because he said he slipped a disk and drop him at his house a few miles down the road. Swim, who would never usually do this, kindly obliged. Turns out swim and the stranger had a lot in common, both being prior military and both served in Iraq. The stranger then said he was at the doctor refilling his perscrition for OXYCONTIN! Swim licked his lips and said nothing. When swims arrived at the strangers house he shocked swim and offered his complete thanks and demanded swim accept 6 of his oxy's as payment. Swim was so surprised he said yes and profoundly thanked him in return. Just thought Swim would share that his rare act of kindness to a complete stranger was returned 10 fold. Swim lives in the city and is suspect of everyones hidden agenda if they have one. Swim will try to lend a hand more often now but not to get anything in return, just because doing the right thing often out weighs the risk. This was just an important reminder for swim that he should always try to do the right thing, even when no ones looking and it doesn't count. Peace and swim is enjoying his oxy's.
