I forgot to mention:



My sleep patterns were absolutely destroyed for at least a week. The
first night I DIDNT SLEEP. I just lay there, buzzing out at little
objects in my room. I wanted to get up and watch a movie, but I
couldnt. I didnt want to do anything. The depression hadnt hit yet but
when it did and I was lying in bed at night like this, I seriously
wanted to die. The depression hit slowly and over a long period. It hit
peak about 5-7 days later. Taking the 5-htp definitely helped, but it
also exacerbated my 'spaced out' feeling. I've been a walking zombie
for a month. It scared my and I'm sure it scared my friends. I returned
to normal sleep after about a month, but those first 2 weeks were
torture. When I did sleep I had insane nightmares. Stuff you have no
idea you can even imagine yourself. Luckily I don't reall remember
them, just remember they were scary as hell and profound. Let's just
say my REM cycle took a long time to return.
