Could Adderall XR be easily made into regular Adderall?

Wikipedia's entry on Adderall states:

Adderall XR utilizes the Microtrol® delivery system to achieve the extended-release mechanism. This delivery system incorporates two beads: the first type of bead dissolves immediately and the second type releases four hours later.

My question is this: if pulverized Adderall XR were to be put into solution and left to dissolve for at least four hours, would the slow-release particles have dissolved into the solution by then, or would they have to be first gradually metabolized by the body?

I am assuming that pulverized Adderall XR does not release concurrently to regular pulverized Adderall. If am in error in this matter, please correct me.
