Is there a proper way?

My friend was just wondering, if there is a proper or more efficent way to snort pills or heroin. Swim used to sniff oxycontin alot, for about a year. Swim stopped doing opiates for awhile. Then swim sniffed a bag of heroin about a week ago and he/she barely felt it. Also swim sniffed a oxycontin 40mg last night and barely felt it. Swim first sniffed half did not feel nothing, then sniffed the other half, with the slightest opiate feeling. Swim was just wondering if swim sniffed them wrong, if there is a proper way of doing it. Since swim just sniffed the oxy and put water up his nose a few minutes afterward to get the drip.. Is this not the proper way to sniff a pill. But what is weird about it even when swim did opiates daily a 40mg oxycontin with a little pot would have swim nodding off and yesterday it barely gave swim a buzz. A couple days ago swim took 4 5/325 percs and was more bent then when he/she sniffed the 40. Can anybody please inform swim if they are doing anything wrong. Swim also used to sniff oxycontin daily for a couple months yet swim did nothing different. Also could it be do to swim has a little upper respiratory cold.
