Red face Does eating food effect the LSD trip?

SWIM wanted to know what, if any, the effects of eating during or before a trip are..

Is eating food during a trip going to take away from the trip?.. SWIM has always had the idea that taking LSD on an empty stomach would provoke a harder trip than if say SWIM just had a 12oz steak.. is SWIM wrong? or should SWIM stop starving himself while on LSD?

SWIM loves the combination of mary-jane and lsd, but when the munchies set in it's a hell of a time to settle them down.. it seems as though SWIM's trip deminished severly or almost ended immediately after eating chinese food one time...
