Moorestown man charged with ecstasy possession

A Moorestown man was arrested last week with 150 ecstasy pills after a monthlong undercover investigation that involved the FBI, authorities said yesterday. Adrian L. Matthew, 35, of the 300 block of Ferndale Road, was charged with possession of ecstasy and possession with intent to distribute.
Matthew allegedly sold the drug in Maple Shade, Moorestown and Mount Laurel, police said. He was arrested Friday afternoon while driving on Main Street in Moorestown. He is free on $125,000 bail.
The case will be sent to a grand jury for possible indictment. If convicted on both charges, Matthew faces 10 to 20 years in prison. Other agencies involved in the investigation included the Burlington County Prosecutor's Office Narcotics Task Force and police departments in Maple Shade, Moorestown and Mount Laurel.
