Safety First with avinza (morphine)

My friend has disk probs and has been taking 90 mg. of avinza along with 75 mg. of Lyrica 2 x day for pain. He was recently given 100 mcg. fentanyl mylar patches and was interested in their effects. From reading in this forum I was able to relay to him that the majority opinion seemed to be one thing-BE VERY CAREFUL WITH THESE PATCHES. As a result of this research my friend has recently tried chewing 1\3 of the patch along with 6 5\500 vicodins and reported back to me that he enjoyed the results immensely. I'm happy to say that he did not OD and heeded your advice carefully. He asked me to say that he appreciates the great public service this forum is doing by keeping safety first.
