Why'd it take so long?

A friend of a friend of mine was testing a pill out of a large batch yesterday. He woke up around 2 PM, ate breakfast/lunch consisting of chicken strips, yogurt, a chocolate brownie, and a glass of milk. He then took his daily vitamins - a multivitamin, omega 3,6,9 capsule, and 50mg of coenzyme q10. About an hour later, he consumed a tablet of E, which was a very very dark blue colour, and rough in texture.

SWIM stated that in his experience, it usually takes half an hour to an hour, before the effects start coming on. In this case, 3 hours passed by with no concrete effects (a little jittery in the first 15 minutes, but probably all placebo). It was not until after he ate dinner and sat down by his computer to blast some music, did he notice the onset of MDMA-like effects.

SWIM decribed the high as MDMA-like, but definitely not as strong as a quality, pure pill. He is not sure whether the pill contained some kind of chemical other than MDMA, that has a 3 hour waiting period..... or perhaps there was an event that triggered whatever MDMA was left in his stomach to be released into the bloodstream? Very strange.

Anyway... on a totally unrelated topic, did anyone see Xmen3?
WTF was up with the Mutant formerly known as Prince?
I swear... when Magneto instructed him to "show us your power" and he started clapping his hands... I was half expecting all the mutants behind him to jump into a choreographed dance, accompanied by Michael Jackson's "Billie Jean"
