Adderall Side Effects

SWIM is an 18 year old athlete who began using amphetamines withiin the past year. SWIM had never put anything up his nose in his life before just a few months ago. It started with percs and vics, then led to an array of randomness, (Morphine, Oxycontin, Well-butrin, Ritalin, Focalin, Concerta, Coke once, and K-pins once.)

SWIM is a big time studier and a big time athlete. His season ended before he started using amphetamines. He now goes on binges of a day or two of little or no sleep, followed by a few rest days, then repeating the process. SWIM bumps everything and his nose seems to be getting screwed up. SWIM like the effects because after a workout he can shower up, go to town on some adderall, and stay up all night doing work and research. SWIM has always been known as being real smart but always hating to work. The ultimate academic underachiever. When he takes adderall he just seems to channell his natural ability and write papers and essays all night even when not assigned.

Unfortunately, he is noticing some things about his body that are scaring SWIM. He conquered the stomach aches with regular protien shakes during binges, conquered the headaches by staying hydrated, and somewhat made up for the sleep deprivation by sleeping long long periods of time when days not on amphetamines.

The biggest thing is.....When he goes to the bathroom, what comes out has started to become reddish in color. SWIM read that too many carrots can do that, which he eats regularly, and is going to stop eating carrotts to see if that is the problem.

Could it be that SWIM takes a plethera of vitamins, amino acids, and supplements? SWIM regularly takes a multi-vitamin, Vitamin C, L-Carnitine, L-Glutamine, Designer Whey Protien, Organic Flaxseed oil, Hydroxycut, Amino acid powder, and eats a lot on top of all of these.

Is it bad that SWIM is trying to combine the life of a dedicated student, an athelete who demands so much from his body, and a teenager who just loves to experiment and have fun?

SWIMs Liver is a source of concern for him. He doesn't drink too regularly, about every friday and saturday nights like a normal teenager. He dips almost a tin a day, and rarely smokes weed when it's around.

Does SWIM have a cause to be worried? How much longer until his behavior will start affecting him for the rest of his life. SWIM loves adderall but doesn't want to screw up the other parts of his life too. Is their a way they can co-exist? Or should SWIM man up and choose sides?

And what the fuck is up with SWIMs shit being red? Thats bugging SWIM a lot.

Any help for SWIM is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
