First DXM experience, dosage question?

I have Delsym, which has DXM Poli, a time-released version of DXM. I have no tolerance because this is my first time, any recommended dosage for good affect.. possibly some euphoria? I just took 30 mL, which is 200 mg of the DXM Poli, and that's probably not enough to feel anything when it hits me.
