A FOAF from Canada had been
snorting methoxetamine irregularly, for periods of 3-4 days
straight once every month or so. Lately it seems that when he tries to snort it at all his
nose gets really stuffed up and a constant stream of snot (and sometimes blood) will come
out for days afterwards, as if he had a really bad nasal infection, and it really dampens his
sense of smell. Is it possible it's just a chemical reaction that's causing the issue (as it's
happened twice over two months now)? [He doesn't think it's some sort of bacteria/fungal
issue; he's taken MXE orally and it doesn't seem to have a bad physical reaction with his
mouth or anything.]
Needless to say, he stopped snorting a month ago and will probably never do that with this particular substance again. He's just curious to see if this is something that would reoccur with other unrelated substances now as well. (He's snorted
cocaine,
ketamine, and various
opiates long ago in the past as an unruly youth and only
coke caused a mild nose bleed after a night long session.)
