Health - tomato red face when drinking, white face after weed

buddy got a tomato red face after drinking a few beers in a warm, somewhat crowded, room. It was incredibly obvious, but buddy didn't know much about it, he said weed ussually helps, so he proceeded to buy some weed, took some bong hoots, nothing much more than usual, then got super white dizzy fainted for a sec then got a little fresh air, got up, and said he was feeling much better than he did while tomato red. anyone hear anything about this before?

probably an ALLERGY or Rosacea - caused by a dilation of blood vessels after drinking.

I get it bad from booze , mostly wine & spicy foods, and once got a huge honker on my nose from processed cheese and it was there weeks. HUGE- all my co workers called me Rudolf and it was brutal.

I still have red blemishes on my cheeks and many processed foods and white bread , chocolate, .. cause it.

Get him to take an Allergy test. Or if could be something else?

Are you Asian or of indigenous people's descent? Many people of such background, lack Alcohol-Dehydrogenase, a key enzyme in the metabolism of booze. Without it, the alcohol isn't processed properly and the more toxic by-products build up causing the stated reactions. This is often called "Red Skull" and is part of the reason why people of Asian or Native American decent have a tendency to be unable to handle alcohol.

One of my friends used toget this a lot, he calls it 'razzle-rash'
Ive no idea what causes it, but ive seen a few people go red faced after drinking.
My friend is an alcoholic and drinks daily, his intake has been increasing over the last couple of dacades, but ive noticed that the red face is not as common now as it used to be.

I know this Princess, and Princess Princess' opinion is:
her dad and brother have high blood pressure and over-weight;
they don't drink much, but when they go on a binge twice a month,
5-7drinks in an hour and their face goes tomato red, their background is white.
Both have high blood pressure history, with dad taking meds daily ad his son doesn't.
Princess does believe red face comes with high pressure thats too high on daily basis but suddenly goes really high in short time, and the person is not used to it(binges)

Cannabis could ve done a reaction, since cannabis LOWERS blood pressure suddenly and because of cannabis the heart rate goes up out of a sudden.

So what happened to your friend could be: sudden rise in blood pressure(thats already normally high), the heart works harder/under pressure, sudden drop in blood pressure and heart rate goes up faster, the heart works much harder
if your friend was sitting down, hes blood pressure would be higher as well

This jump in the system could cause dizziness, blurry vision, tiredness, headache/migraine, chest pain, heart palpitations, foggy head.
