I'm always up for trying something new, as long as I think it won't kill me so when I was offered some propanolol I thought what the hell. I didn't really know anything about it other than it had been prescribed to my mate's sister, after she had been in a car crash, for anxiety. And that the side effects included hallucinations, loss of co-ordination, change in perceptionand some other things that looked like they would be quite fun.
I had been at the pub that evening so was a bit drunk when we got to my mates. His sister then gave me the beta-blockers and I took them then left with my mate to go somewhere away from his house for a few joints. Took us 30mins to get where we wanted to and I was still feeling fine so I had a joint and all of a sudden the whole world got messed up. I was sitting down and found myself unable to move, I then started getting patterns floating across my vision and well as seeing random shapes appearing in the dark. I felt completely numb and really really relaxed. I didn't feel really messed up like I was gonna puke or pass out I just lost all co-ordination and the ability to move properly. My friends had to pick me up and they said I was a complete dead weight. Was funny as I could see myself acting like this but could do jack about it. About an hour later I went home barely being able to walk but feeling really good. Had an amazing sleep and felt fine the next day.
I'm still not really sure what beta-blockers do to you though, anyone know more about them and their affects?Edited by: psychedelaholic
