Feeling really dizzy after SWIM takes a super long nap
hey fellas.. first post on here.. i think i got the rules down... so SWIM has been a pothead for most his life.. hes in his mid 20's.. recently he picked up the habit of smoking methamphetamines about 3 months ago... hes done it many times before but never daily like he's doing now.. SWIM feels perfectly fine when hes high, he'll stay up on average 2-3 days 4 at most and then get some much needed sleep... he usually smokes weed to make the comedown bareable.. but the problem is after he passes out after like a 16 hour nap, he wakes up feeling really dizzy and woozy... so much that hes puked a couple times.. he doesnt even wanna walk anywhere when he wakes up or he thinks hell puke.. only thing he can do is just lay in bed and try and sleep even more until the dizziness goes away.. hes tried smoking weed when he wakes up to see if that makes him feel better but it makes him feel even more dizzy.. recently hes cut back a lot on the weed ever since hes picked up meth.. only thing hes found that actually makes him feel a little bit better is smoking some more meth which is not exactly what he had in mind... SWIM has searched all over google and this forum and couldnt find anything on this, has anybody felt like this or know of anything SWIM can do to not wake up feeling like the world is spinning? besides smoking more meth? any help would be appreciated as this has happened on several occasions.. and SWIM is starting to get really tired and wants to sleep but scared hes gonna wake up like that again.. thanks a lot everybody

Re: Feeling really dizzy after SWIM takes a super long nap
You have two different factors here causing you to feel like shite after sleeping.
The first is "oversleeping". When your body sleeps for more than like 10 hours you are running the risk of sleeping way over what you should be. Example is like you are saying, sleeping for 16 hours after coming down. That is way to long. Don't get me wrong, your body is probably going through some very bad re-cooperation, it's just to long for someone to sleep. What you need to do, if you are going to follow on this trail of false feelings and dreams, is to limit how much you smoke/snort, limit how long you are up, and limit how long you sleep. Try not to be up more than 2 days at the max, try not to smoke/snort if you don't need it for the effect to stay with you, and try not to sleep for more than 10 hours. I am not judging you, I am letting you know facts, your dancing in quicksand and CAN get lost in this drug called meth.
The second thing I can think of being a factor is dehydration/malnutrition. When you do speed a lot, you don't eat/drink as you should. When this happens, you get dehydrated and malnourished. These two things can do anything to you from making your teeth fall out (still a problem from what I did meth) to being rushed to the hospital. You NEED to remember to force yourself to eat and drink. If not, your health will decline rapidly.
Honestly, just leave that stuff alone, it's just not worth it, but there are a couple answers for you, feel free to double check my work. I don't believe in using scare tactics to cause someone to quit a drug.

Re: Feeling really dizzy after SWIM takes a super long nap
I get nauseous when trying to quit smoking dope. I've looked around and never seen that side affect mentioned or explained and don't remember it 15 years ago the first time I quit. It's deblitating sickness, can't stand for more then 10 seconds without feeling really ill and nothing makes it stop cept dope. It went on for a week the first time till I figured it out. Called out sick for an entire week.
Quick background. Heavy user 15 years ago but quit. Been abusing adderal for 2 years till I went back to meth. Back everyday meth use for 6 months. I eat good on it though, wholsome food, almost a health nut but I admit I lack for sleep cause I find sleep deprevstion fun lol. Hold steady good job without to many raised eyebrows ha. Don't know if that vackground helped but there it is.
I would really like to know about this nausea to, it's unbearable

Oh thought I should add waking up from sleep don't mean I'm sick feeling guarnteed it's usuallly 24-48 hours after last hit. Body detoxed basically then sick.

Re: Feeling really dizzy after SWIM takes a super long nap
yup frognuts is right on the dot.. thats exactly how SWIM feels when he wakes up.. thanks fellas.. hes really open to any suggestions right about now and hes willing to try about anything since theres no other place that has this kind of info.. hes not really tryin to get hooked on it.. just wants to go back to being a pothead, but whenever he wakes up he gets that nauseus feeling again so he smokes again and the cycle continues.. and i think u had a point about the malnutrition thing.. hes been tryin to eat as much as he can, but he DID lose about 10-15 pounds since he started.. altho hed love to hear some more suggestions so he doesnt have to rely on 1 and only 1 solution..

Re: Feeling really dizzy after SWIM takes a super long nap
I live in the PAC NW incase it's a regional thing. I really have no answer for it. The week I was wiped out I can't even say it got much better after 7 days. A little better but I was still in bad shape. Haven't tried quitting since or even taking a couple day break. Blowing money
Frognuts added 4 Minutes and 22 Seconds later...
Also should add this has happened 4 times not just the one isolated week. 2 times wheb I took a little break and 2 week long stints to. Thinking back seems it got worse each time but I could be wrong

Yeah, pretty sure it did. Meth wipes out immune systems, vitamins and minerals, basically it takes you and physically depletes you in hundreds of ways. What you are doing is both temporary and permanently damaging your body and mind.
I was on it for years, to this day I still have teeth fall out. I been there and done that, so it explains why I seem harsh on this drug. It's not worth it over all and sooner than later you will start experiencing way worse than what you are now. Do it long enough and you will have problems for the rest of your life.

Re: Feeling really dizzy after SWIM takes a super long nap
I know what your saying tirdof. Like I said I've been down this road before. I had to get dentures at the ripe old age of 25 or 26. Emberassing when you get a new gf and bring that up. Not really sure why it just is.
Anywase back to topic, you could probably trash can my responses. I was diagnosed last week with something something vertigo which don't seem related to each other at all. So gl figuring it out. Mail me sometime let me know what's up and if you have figure it out. Maybe they flubbed my diagnosis and it's interesting none the less
