I was sitting the other day smoking some hash, and i figured out something cool about what life and death is. I was sitting on the toilet when it hit me, but i was pretty blazed.

The world is language. Everything in the world (everything in the universe, the reality and everything) is alive. So if everything that is alive is language, the living can never have any contact with death.

For example if you see a dead person. You think "wow man, that dude is dead". But hes not (his body anyway)! See, his body is still made out of language. It's sending messages to your brain saying that it's there, wich means that it's communicating with your conciousness. So even the "dead" that we see in the world are language, and are therefore still alive.

Death is the complete absence of language. This is something that cannot occur to my knowlage in our realities and dimensions, because in order to know that something exists it must communicate with you somehow (visually, soniclly, feel, etc, so that you know its presence). Air communicates with us because we breathe it. We feel its presence. A painting communicates with us because we see it. We know its there. Death is something that can not communicate at all. Even "ghosts" that some people see are alive, because they are communicating with you on some level and are therefore language (=life).

Dying is therefore to my conclusion unimaginable. We can not imagine and comprehend something that is not language. So just stop trying, everyone. You'll have a heart attack.

Now i can look at things in a more interesting way, and it's all thanks to yes-i-cannabis.

Increase da peace.

That's really cool. I've always thought of death as the absence
of memory. You are no longer living when no one is able to
remember anything about you. Therefor death is unimaginable
because you can't think about something that you don't remember.

in my mind death is a scientific thing.. most people belive in religion saying your body is a pod that carries your soul. when you die you go o heaven or wander the earth of whatver..

what makes a living thaing live.. chemical reactions on the body.. electrical impulses.. logic. ect. when a person dies you simply dont exist. your gone forever. something that no living thing will ever understand because we dont know how it would be to not exist.. well thats be cause when you die you simply dont be... the chemicals go away stop working.. no touch no taste no feel. no ability to even have logic or anything.. nothing nada.. nobody knows how that could possibly exist... its the end of all that is in yourself.. its not even explainable cause no mater how it is worded you cant understand it...

so people make up all of these ideas of death to make it something you can understand something you can live with the thought of.. we are the same decaying organtic matter as every thing else.. so dont worry bout it.. when you die its the end.. dont be afraid of it. it is simply non existence.

Iv'e thought like this before. Its very relieving to not fear death.
Because when you don't exist, you wouldn't care about not existing,
because you wouldn't care period.

The closest ive come to this was in a dream, i was dieing. It felt as
if i was drifting out of existance, but i thought to myself. "If i were
to die in seconds, itd be good to die happy." So i just became happy
knowing itd be pretty good to die that way and i felt at total peace
with myself.

After I awoke, I no longer feared death. When it comes i may even enjoy it, unless its some soret of painful way.

Once you learn to accept that you someday won't exist, you can exist to the fullest. or something like that. What does annoy me is explaining it to the religious people and them getting mad at me.

Wow dude, I just smoked a joint with my girlfriend before I signed on and your post is the first one I am reading and you just blew my mind. That has got to be the best concept of life and death I have heard yet. I have always thought like Diphenhydramine "You are no longer living when no one is able to remember anything about you."
