hello everyone, i am just really curious how many of you first encountered the drug heroin. Around my area it is a very unpopular drug, although in other parts of the world it is extremely popular. So, how did you first come in contact with H. Did you go seeking for it on your own, or did you just happen to be somewhere and people were doing it, and you gave it a shot? thanks for the replies. peace

I was a) curious and b) it became too expensive for me to buy codeine from the pharmacy. H is much cheaper for me. (Still, but I try to keep my tolerance down = dont use too often).


I just talked to some person that looked obviously like she would take H. Then I bought with her but from that stuff I got nosebleeding. Then the dealer was busted and I again asked someone. Now I have a really cool connection. He doesnt cut it when he gets it I think. Its very strong i dont ever get nosebleeding.

well im from a very small town in southwestern ontario, i know heroin is around but i can gurentee you not at all that frequently, very few users. ive been places where its all over the place like Vancouver, so ive seen the scene, and im not far from Toronto. just around my area its fairly uncommon, i guess you guys misinterpreted what i meant by unpopular.

i did it back in the punk rock glorydays of the early 80's in southwestern ontario. it was a totally underground thing, but VERY popular with those in the know. it was the coolest thing we all thought, and we'd crush up andshoot anything. back then heroin wasn't as strong as now so the harmies were actually a better deal, even dilaudid at 50$ each...


then one summer i hitthe west coast, vancouver, main and hastings and my world changed forever-cheap cheap super potent heroin and cola-discovered the devil of mr speedball, yikes.


i've been ona nd off the shit most allof my adultlife-in fact i'm yet again going to be stopping after a 3 week run of doing a1/4 g of black tar a day...today at lunch i take my last hit. fuck may the gods of withdrawl be kind to me, please. i've posted another question about tapering with temegesic, if anyone knows much about this...

Strange, when I read posts of users they always talk with the view back (obviously) and it sounds really hard when people talk about 10, 20, 30 years spaces of using.


What I want to say is that it seems like when you start with heroin you probably are about to enter a decades long fight for stopping it. I have the feeling that noone who tried it once (as with all other opies, too) never really is clean again. At least the urge to use again is always there. But then, on the other hand,I read here from someone else: There are always many things that one cant do ...
