Re: oxycontin
SWIM wets a paper towel and rubs the coating off his OC's... should come right off... it's really that easy.

Re: oxycontin
SWIM is going to suggest SWIY use the search engine, there's loads of threads about defeating Oxycontin. Also re-reading the rules about selfincrimination would be a good idea.
Anyways licking the colouring off Oxycontin pills will not defeat the time-release system, extracting the Oxycodone is possible but isn’t really necessary unless your ferret plans to inject them, which isn’t advisable. Crush the pills in to very fine powder; mix in 50mg citric acid and 100mg sodium bicarbonate, crush some more, Consume and wash down with some cola. If ferret dosen't have any citric just drink some branded cola (coke) 15 mins prior to ingestion. The above is intended for oral consumption only, if he does plan to snort it (not adviseable) drop the citric and bicarb. The above should release the Oxycodone faster so be careful. Q |

Re: oxycontin
Why there are people who STILL believe the coating is responsible for the timed-release is beyond SWIM
![]() The coating on OxyContin/Oxycodone ER tablets is NOTHING more than a way to make them easier to swallow (notice how "slippery" it gets when water is present). It is also used as a way to prevent the pill from breaking/shattering when carried and a way to distinguish which dose is which using different colors for different dosage tablets. For brand name tablets manufactured by Purdue, simply crushing them to a powder defeats any timed-release mechanism. For generics made by Teva, GlobalPharm etc., it is much more difficult to extract the oxycodone from them -albeit still possible. But one more "the coating is the time-release" post and SWIM will go insane... ~Picass0 |
