Yes. Join the interest in the Occult User Group. I personally invent my own system (or lack thereof) of chaos magick and follow very little of Caroll and his successors (8p star/color wheel, religions in a hat, etc.)
I know what I want to do in the moment and pull 'ritual' from anything that intuitively feel applicable from a myriad of real, fictional, and invented sources/paradigms.
I think this is what Caroll rather had in mind when he more or less said that magick is from the mind and any ritual is just psychodrama to evoke it and that by randomising paradigms one attunes to the raw technique and power rather than Using a specific system to invoke one's abilities. After saying all this he then writes a system for people to follow. I think he meant it as a sort of joke.
Even the GD to initiate to the third level must recognize that ritual is meaningless except in the eye of the beholder. It is the largest stumbling block for members ascending the ranks.
It fits rather neatly with my deconstructionist paradigm.
