Buprenorphine analouges

Can I get some feed back on good possible compounds that would not be to potent. I want to get my guy to make me an analogue of this since its schedule 3 and doesn't fall under the analogue act. I think this could be a valuable avenue to look down.

What compounds would be a good choice that would only me Buprenorphine analogues and not be to potent?

strangladesh added 7 Minutes and 30 Seconds later...

I just found desmethyltramadol its a tramadol analogue would this be a good compound to get in?

Re: Buprenorphine analouges

SWIM would guess that desmethyltramadol would be something to be very cautious with as it is the primary active metabolite of tramadol itself, and since tramadol has the drawback of causing seizures in higher than recommended amounts, swim would guess no. As far as analogs of buprenorphine, SWIY might want to take a look at the extensive list of schedule 1 controlled substances (opiates) that SWIM has never even heard off. Some of the lower scheduled opiate drugs have very powerful and much higher scheduled relatives.

Seizures in high doses are probably due to tramadol's action as a serotonin reuptake inhibitor which desmethyltramadol does not possess. One enantiomer of desmethyltramadol does however act as a dopamine and noradrenaline reuptake inhibitor.. Seems like an interesting compound but it's potency wouldn't be great compared with morphine. That's all based on the M1 metabolite of tramadol in humans, O-Desmethyltramadol.

There are metabolites of buprenorphine which act as full agonists and do not possess antagonist activity at mu-opioid receptors, I can't remember any details though nor do I know if it even crosses the BBB so it may not be viable.
