I need help using the restroom...
I would've asked this in my other topic, but sadly no one replied.
I took 60mg's of morphine lastnight and today i took 20mg's of hydrocodone. I feel very nauseated and need to throw up or use the restroom.. Ive been taking alka seltzer to stop my upset stomach but im not sure how long that will work.. Any tips on using the restroom after being constipated ? thanks in advance. |

Sure Cures for Constipation
If constipation is what you have, I can definetely help. There are 2 options for rapid relief.
Magnesium Citrate - Drink a 10oz bottle of Magnesium Citrate, which you can pick up for about $1 at just about any pharmacy or supermarket. Then drink a 16oz. glass of water, or a minimum 8oz. glass of water. The instructions are on the bottle. You should be going to the bathroom within 30 minutes -2 hours. Saline Enema - You can pick this up at just about any pharmacy or supermarket for about $2. You have to basically insert a plastic nozzle in your rectum and sqeeze in all the liquid. You should be going to the bathroom within 2-5 minutes. HOWEVER, if your bowels are seriously compacted you may only release the fluid once you hit the toilet. Your next option is to combine the 2 products. Combination - When you go to the store, just pick up at least 2 bottles of each product. Drink the Magnesium Citrate as instructed. Wait about 30 minutes and then use the Saline Enema. If after 2-5 minutes you still only release the saline fluid, then wait for another hour or 2 and the Magnesium Nitrate should kick in. Success Rate 100% - The longest I have ever had to wait is about one hour with the combined method, and that was only twice in my life. With just the Magnesium Nitrate it once took almost 3 hours, but that is extremely rare. Compacted Bowels - If you try these methods 2 or three times over a 3-6 hour period and still have problems then you should seriously consider heading to the hospital. You may have severly compacted bowels. This has never happened to me, but it is a possibility to keep in mind. Appendicitis - About a year ago I thought I was just having stomach problems again. I couldn't throw up anything, just a lot of dry heaves. And I couldn't go to the bathroom. I tried the Magnesium Nitrate and still felt miserable hours later. I managed to get to sleep after taking some pain pills. In the morning I went to the hospital and within 4 hours they were operating on me for appendicitis. So if you feel a sharp pain on your right side between your hip and your ribs, and you have the dry heaves, you may have Appendicitis and should get to the hospital ASAP. Good Luck! |
