UN warning and quality.
The UN has today warned about a prolific new trafficking route into Britain via the Balkans which seems set to increase the supply of cocaine into Britain.
This news was met this morning by the usual BBC moralising and nonsense, with "experts" basically saying "don't do drugs children because they are very bad" instead of addressing the situation sensibly and in a way that will make any difference. However the main source of concern amongst the "experts" seems to be that prices will be driven down. Now my monkey, who takes cocaine, tells me that price isn't the attraction. He tells me that he's given up on coke because the quality has become rubbish. Apparently, it has ceased to be desirable because it makes him feel so shocking both during and afterwards, so he wouldn't now buy it if it was even cheaper. He would buy it, he tells me, if it were more expensive and good. His comment to me about today's news was that it would be marvellous if this new route were to introduce so much cocaine to Britain that the authorities had to stop the pretence that all drugs are bad and that everyone is an idiot. Instead making them focus on education. Furthermore that it gave everyone who wanted to use cocaine so much choice of supplier that dealers either had to keep quality up or go out of business. My monkey's view is, though, that this won't have any effect on either the authorities approach to matters or the general level of quality. M&MM |

Re: UN warning and quality.
SWIM agrees that it won't have any effect on the authorities approach the drug and more specifically, Cocaine matters. However, whether or not it will change the price or quality is an interesting question. However, if the quality did increase, then perhaps dealers would charge more, or even cut it more so practically all the Cocaine at street level is pretty similar.
Surely for an average user to notice a difference, there must be a significant increase in quality (or psychologically active adulterants). Whilst that means more people ought to buy it, the suppliers may deem it unnecessary to increase quality so more buy it, as people won't have too much of a hard time shifting Cocaine anyway. SWIM believes that it's more likely for the price to go down slightly, which probably won't even be reflected in street prices anyway, which will mean the suppliers are selling more at a time because it's marginally cheaper. It's a very expansive question, and there are so many variables that it's impossible to predict really what will happen. That is why when SWIM used to consume Cocaine reasonably regularly, he paid slightly more to get very nice product. To SWIM, it was completely worth it, and made the whole experience more special. |

Re: UN warning and quality.
I think you have both made some really good point, SWIM read the above article in the paper this week and had the same opinion and thought great, better qualilty and cheaper. Quality being the main thing. But after some consideration he thought the same, would the quality and lower costs be passed down?
The conclusion he had was probably no, down to the fact that to many people want to a "dealer". What he means by that is peolpe rather make a profit and not see the same customers return. Where as many of SWIM's friends and peolpe on here have said they rather pay a bit extra for quality. While some others (younger than me) still think the "buzz" is being completly wired, F**k, speeded, can't talk, gurning away why would the dealers improve quality if they have a customer base who like being like that. If this does happen, quality starts to appear at street level he will pleasently surprised and he would see alot of peolpe come out of "retirement" |

Quote:
Similar to MDMA, SWIM believes Cocaine should be pure euphoria, and SWIM is fortunate enough to say he has experienced a cocaine induced euphoria, which wasn't speedy or wired at all. |
