I developed axiety and panic disorder at the beginning of january and was perscribed one mg pills of xanax. This druged actually worked for me and i was extremely happy that i was becoming my normal self, however, doctores were concerned about me taking such high dosages of xanax at a young age (3 to 4 mg's a day).


I started to realized how fun xanax can be used recreationally, and i began to do so once a month or so. I've only had like 4 xanax "trips" since i was originally presribed them for medical reasons, but the last two have have neeb nothing like the 1st two.


The first time, i purchased 20 xanax 2mg bars, and i remeber taking 4 and blowing 2 (even though i remember that blowing is probably less effective than just taking them.....) After that, i was just sitting there playing video games, and the next thing i know, i was "Dreaming" that i walked to a bar about a mile away from my house, to buy cigarettes. The place i went to told me i wasn't of age to even be in the bar, but to try the bar across the street, and they would probably sell me some. Well i went to the bar (minding you that i have no recollection of getting to either of these places, just being there) and they sold me a pack of marb menthols. Some guy even asked me if i wanted him to buy me a beer, which i kindly declined no. (remeber this is all a "dream" that i thoght i was having) The next thing i know, i wake up in my bed with my girlfriend sleeping on the couch, and she is PISSED. I ask her how she got here, and she told me that i let her in. I don't remeber that. Not only that, that 20 bars i bought were GONE, so that's 40mg that i have no idea where they went. I wouldnt be suprised if i ingested most of them, since i have an EXTREMELY high tolerance to pills, of ANY kind. Well anyways, the cigarettes i bought in my "dream" were on the bed, so i actually did get so fucked up that i walked to some bars......... This leads to me to my next delemma. I did something like this one other time, and i had a lot of fun..... But the last two times i've tried it i've been extremely dissapointed (at the most i feel kinda heavy and giddy, and this is on 15 mg's), and i'm curious as to why. I've only been on the drug legitly for about 3 months, so my benzo tolerance shouldnt be too high, and i've only abused benzos 4 or 5 times in my life. So what am i doing wrong? There are only two things that i cant think of. Number one would be that i have an extremely high tolerance to pills, and when i abused them the first two times, i just forgot how many i was taking and took a LARGE amount. or two, i usually take then in small dosages. Like i'll start out with 6mg, wait like 45min, then add 4mg, and then wait 30-45min, and then go from there...... maybe i should be taking them all at once? ******Keep in mind that i have a EXTREMELY high tolerance to pills, almost any kind of pills, I'm not a huge drug user, but the last TWO times i've taken close to17 mg's of xanax, and other than being a little clumsy and heavy feeling, i'm fine., but BEFORE i've been totally fucked up.

I doubt even 200 2mg alprazolam would kill someone unless there was another drug involved, even small amounts could put them over, but benzodiazepines alone on the whole are very hard to overdose and die on. Don't know where this seizure stuff is coming from either, the only seizure relation i know of is when people withdraw from benzodiazepines, in fact they are used to treat seizures.

Cleverdemise, TT thinks if you don't start thinking very soon, you will be
just another pfizer / upjohn junkie of many. And withdrawing Xanax
is hell. And yes, doctors are very right when being concerned about
letting you drop 3 - 4 mg a day, while 1.0 - 1.5 should be enough.

to become gold you need 100 informative posts and to abide by the rules obviously, plus u need to be an active member for 30days.on the topic of abuseing xanax, if you mix it with tobbaco it reduces the effects and if you mix it with even small ammounts of alcohol it will dramatically increase the effects cause of the interaction between the two drugsEdited by: dr ACE

i didnt know that tabacco redudced the affect of xanax. could explain this please?

I'm somewhat new to this drug. I understand that this is meant to treat anxiety and also used recreationally. i was for the most part against xanax due to the outcome that I saw with a family member, but now my friends have been introduced. I guess there comes a time when smoking canabis just isn't enough anymore. I have recently been really curious to what its like to be a different "high." Since my friends have access to this I felt I should take the opportunity... you only live once, right? I tried it. To be quite honest I loved it. This is a drug that tends to make you a little more ballsy than you might normally be (speaking, movements, actions.) I felt it was almost as if I was drunk. I had the time of my life. I realized there was a lot that went on that night that I didn't remember, it was just a blur. This is something I'm sure if I did a few more times I would easily become addicted, and that is exactly what I don't want. People with addictive personalities, or tenancies I would tell you to stay away, it'll catch ya.
