Dose - Methylphenidate question need answe fast

SWIM took 9, 5 mg focalins (dexmethylphenidate IR) today throughout about 7 hours.

he took 5 at about 10 and took 1 every 30-60 minutes minutes or so until about 2 when he took his last one.

my question is he has three left and doesn't know if it's safe to take them, swim has no tolerance and his heart keeps getting palpitations although this only started to happen when he came down at about 3:15. So this could just be him coming off possibly?

he wants to take them but doesn't know if it would just freak out his heart and make his have to go to the hospital, and also IF swim can't take them then will 15mg get him high at all if he takes them tomorrow or later on?
