Smile Lucid Dreams

SWIM recently took some mollies, roughly 110 mg of pure MDMA. He has rolled several times before this however this time was different. When he got home he was still rolling a little and decided to sleep, what happened next was amazing.

SWIM has never had a lucid dream until tonight, but somehow the MDMA allowed him to. SWIM is sure he had control of the dream and it was so real, he even had full on conversations and still remembers them. Has this ever happened to anyone else?

Re: Lucid Dreams

Swim has experience with this too. He finds it especially occurs when he supplements with melatonin, though it also occurs to a lesser extent even without melatonin. I think that the brain naturally produces extra melatonin after using MDMA to replenish its levels, and it does this when you sleep, as in swims experience the more MDMA he uses the more vivid his dreams become. At one point when he was using MDMA every other day for weeks on end (back before he was responsible) his dreams became so real and vivid he started to wonder if real life is actually really real or whether dreams are real and lifes a dream. If that makes sense. Which it patently doesn't, but thats what swim kept thinking at the time. Very weird feeling when you have a dream that feels amazingly real, very hard to get out of your head. Nostalgia feel to it.

Also, you may lucid dream every night, its just that something in MDMA enables the lucid dream to be remembered. Thats always the weird thing about dreams, you can usually only remember the last few minutes and so anything could be occuring in the deeper states. MDMA tends to make swim wake up straight after his lucid experience. Infact its usually the lucidity that makes him wake up, he starts flying somewhere or something... then suddenly thinks... wtf? how the hell am I flying.... and that one bit of doubt brings him crashing down and he wakes up. The trick is becoming aware of your dream without questioning what you do, so you can maintain it.

Quote:
Spiritual dimensions of lucid dreaming open the doors to vast and infinite possibilities of the depths of the Mind. This exploration is a form of awakening to a larger Reality. Preparation and practice is essential to explore these realms so that the spiritual wisdom of these experiences reveals itself for the benefit of the individual and the awakening of human consciousness to its Divine nature.
There are also techniques to stimulate lucid dreaming. Plenty of websites about on this topic.

[Slightly unrelated warning] Swim also gets sleep paralysis if he overindulges, but finds it hard to become lucid to overcome this. He just has to resort to trying as hard as he can to move and wake up.
