Effects - nauseous from oxycontin

so a while back, SWIM took only 10mg of either Oxycontin or Oxycodone (can't remember which). This was probably about 3 months ago and SWIM didn't really get that high. SWIM just got very light-headed and nauseous( but didn't throw up). So SWIM felt very sick and went to bed to sleep it off. SWIM plans on purchasing two 10mg Oxycontin pills tomorrow. SWIM wants to take one during school because he has an assembly all day tomorrow(he probably won't though because he is starting to figure its just a bad idea). SWIM wants to know if his first time experience only happens the first time and if there is any way to get rid of the nauseous feeling. Would SWIM be better off taking it on an empty stomach or after eating something? thankz

well... Oxycontin is oxycodone. there are different forms though. Like percocets contain oxycodone and tylenol. when you swallow percocets they instantly release at once in your stomach. oxycontin is just oxycodone in the pill. swallowing them in ineffecient because they have a timed release which releases small doses of oxycodone over time. most people if not everyone will crush oxycontin and snort them or parachute them. as for getting sick. i got sick the first few times i tryed oxycodone, i havent gotten sick in a while so it could just be the first times for you too. if your going to purchase oxycontins i highly suggest you crush 1 of the 10mg and snort it. if your stomache is fine and you only feel a buzz or just simply want more then you can rail the other.

SWIY should take dramamine or bonine an hour before one ingests the pill and/or smoke high grade marijuana but not a lot because SWIM feels it overpowers the opiates for some reason even oxycodone enless one take very high doses. But SWIM just loads his vape and does lines of a OC40 while puffing the vape every couple minutes. SWIM thinks its very pleasurable but in heavy doses SWIM be paralyzed.

SWIM tried OC's for his first time yesterday, and did notice a bit of nausea

Aparently ginger tea / beer is good for solviing it, so SWIM is going to invest in some of that for his next attempt

SWIM finds even just 25mg of benadryl(diphenahydramine) helps with nausea and reduces itchiness. But if one smokes bud definitely and that into the combo for sure. Fennel and Chamomile tea helps with nausea alot too.

THe nausea situation is variable between people. Some people get it only the first time they use opiates. Some people only the first few times. Some people almost always get nauseous on opiates and vomit their guts up. My observation is that eating food on opiates makes it worst.

As the posts above suggest, you can get many medicines over the counter for nausea. Just tell the pharmacist your friend at home feels really nauseous and asked you to get something for him.

Because 10mg is quite a small dosage, it seems you have a vulnerability to the nausea side effect.

swims done oc twice, first time swim snorted 30mg and puked about 2 hours after and again about two hours after that and was fine the rest of the day with occasional waves of nausea, second time swim only snorted about 20mg ground off an 80 and puked about 30 min after, 15 min after that, then was fine for two hours so swim decided to snort another ~10mg, puked after about an hour and was fine for the rest of the night.

swim expects the nausea effect to diminish once swims body has been exposed to strong opiates a few more times
