Side effects - Can't figure out why..

Swim got his hands on 40mgs of Opana the other day. He insufflated about 10mgs and got a good buzz, but about 1 1/2 hours later got Very dizzy and started vomiting so bad that he decided the high wasnt worth it and tried to go to bed. The next night he took some motion sickness meds hoping that it would help. Swim insufflated about 8mgs and still vomitted. After about an hour of throwing up his high was pretty much done. He cannot figure out why he was throwing up so much! He had no dizzieness the second time do to the motion sickness pills and the opana wasn't taken orally. Can anyone tell swim why this woud happen and even better would be a way swim can stop from vomitting!

most of the time, vomiting is a result of overdosing. your body is trying to get rid of the extra chemicals you've put in it. swim doesn't know how high your tolerance is, but try taking a lower dose. also, taking opioids on an empty stomach can cause some nausea, so try eating something before you get high.

Well, as you probably already know nausea and vomiting are common side effects from opioids...Try taking metachlopramide (primperan) 10-15 minutes before and see if it helps.

Thanks for the replies. I've heard that vomiting is a common side effect but Swim has never had that from any other opiates for some reason. Swim thought an empty stomach might have been a cause of it the first night, so he ate some pizza about 2 hours before dosing the second night and still vomited. His tolerance is pretty much back down to baseline (was clean for awhile) but he was mildly high on what was roughly an 8th of the opana. So the would be around 5mg of oxymorphone which doesnt seem like it would be enough to cause my body to think its ODing but swim doesnt have anyway of knowing. Where can you get primperan from? Is it just something found in the meds isle? Thanks again for any reponses!

Primperan is a common nausea medication and is found basically in any pharmacy.It works for swim when he gets nauseous from his CWE so I hope it works for you too.

Being that it was 40mgs SWIM is guessing that these are the ER's.Opana can hit pretty hard especially if insufflated and SWIY's tolerance is low.Nausea and vomiting are very common.SWIM would go with quaters(or less being that they are 40mg ER) and then add if needed.Good Luck,Stay Safe!!

PS--By eating that pizza may have increased chances of vomiting because a high fat food may sometimes add to the effects.
