Opinions - What do you think of Precription vs Illegal drugs?

Alright SWIM had his first experience with Heroin yesterday and it completely changed his opinion on heroin. SWIM would say he uses narcotics a lot. He recently got prescribed 12 5-325 Percocets and consumed them in 2 days, without much effects (sadly)...
Before SWIM tried heroin he had the usual bad opinion about it. But since he consumed it he really feels different about it...
He tried to get some prescription painkiller for his migraines for a long time and just recently got some (not enough for his condition though). He just wish he would of found out about heroin a long time ago.
Although he uses opiates almost every week his tolerance doesn't seem to go up
SWIM consumes about 30 8mg codeine pills per dose (CWE for sure) about 2-3 days per week and has been doing so for the past month without having to increase the dose. He was actually using more pills at first...

Sorry for the long post...just explaining from where this question is coming since before my experience with H SWIM was thinking it's the devil .
What do SWIYou who haven't tried heroin think about heroin...as in Prescription vs unprescribed drugs (mostly heroin)?
